Montville Kiwanis Seeks Volunteers for Food Pantry
Standard shifts for volunteers are 2 hours once a month. Membership not required to volunteer.
Those seeking a more rewarding summer activity than getting a tan are being recruited by the Montville Kiwanis Club.
The club is seeking volunteers to help its food pantry, located at 91 Passaic Valley Road, during the summer months.
The Pantry is open Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and operates solely with the help of volunteer efforts. Prospective volunteers do not have to be Kiwanis members to help.
Standard shifts are two hours once a month. Applicants must be at least 21 to volunteer.
Non-perishable food and monetary donations may also be made at the pantry location during operating hours.
Interested persons may contact Joe O’Dowd at 973-227-8565 or Deane Driscoll at 973-216-7649 for more information on donations and volunteering.
