Montville Public Schools: Three MTHS Students Present Innovative Apps To Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill
Congratulations to three MTHS students who participated in the Congressional App Challenge and were invited to present their apps.
Congratulations to three MTHS students who participated in the Congressional App Challenge and were invited to present their apps, as well as the Computer Science programming they used to create the apps, to Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill. Senior Jared Hollfelder created DigiPlanner, a task management tool for parents and students that is especially helpful during remote and hybrid learning. Junior Elizabeth Bazhenov made The State Game, a game-based learning app about the 50 states. Sophia Kuznetsova, also a junior, created Browser Bake Off, an informative game app about understanding website cookies. In addition to presenting their work on their apps to the Congresswoman, each student also received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition.
