
The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring C.S.I. CLASSES (Crime Scene Investigation) for Grades 6th-12th.
CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION CLASS— STEM principles relating to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes are explored. The presentation, labs and exercises will cover the following topics: Make a magnifying glass, take and identify and collect fingerprints, create & examine blood splatter patterns, identify an unknown power, chromatography, time-of-death exercises, cast footprints, and investigate missing persons….Current or former law enforcement Detectives will be teaching this class.
COURSE MATERIALS will be made available to be picked up from the Rec Dept. 1 week PRIOR to program start.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS NEEDED from home: 4 strawberries, an empty Liter bottle of Coke or reasonable facsimile, pencil, scissors, clear scotch tape or clear packing tape, magic marker, glass or small bottle of water, 3 drinking glasses, small bowl (preferably glass), duct tape, vinegar, dish soap, salt, measuring cup, nail polish remover, lipstick, teaspoon, and access to soil from the yard.
