The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring ROBOTICS CLASSES for Grades 4th to 7th.
ROBOTICS with VEX Robotics (No Robot Needed)—Explore the wonders and workings of robotics right at home. With the use of VEXcode VR, students will be able to learn the fundamentals of coding and get to see how their code works with their very own virtual robot.
Students will learn basic programming of VEX Robotics using concepts such as distance, time, and rotations as well as how to control using if/then statements and loops. Students will be able to navigate their robot through a maze, draw pictures, and knockdown castles! The program will allow students to code their robots through different challenges and environments in a fun, collaborative, and engaging way!
