ARCHERY PROGRAMS for Grades 4–8

The Montville Recreation Department is sponsoring ARCHERY PROGRAMS for Grades 4–8.

Learn the basics of archery which include: the parts of the bow, the mechanics of archery, types of bows and equipment, and outdoor target shooting. SAFETY IS ALWAYS STRESSED! Equipment will be provided! Both sessions will have a Fun Day on the last date with pizza & fun targets! Space is Limited!

INSTRUCTORS: Members of Lincoln Park Archers. Students will be supervised by some members who are state certified N.F.A.A. (National Field Archery Association) and/or N.A.S.P. (National Archery in Schools Program) and/or State Hunter Education instructors. N.A.S.P. is the same program & techniques taught in the Montville School system.

Programs take place at Camp Dawson Barn Outdoor Range on the pipeline located at 80 Jacksonville Road in Towaco.

Classes run on Saturdays: May 8, 15, 22 & June 5 (No: 5/29). RAINDATES are on Sundays.

Class times are EITHER from 9:00am to 10:30am OR 11:00am to 12:30pm.

The cost is $60.00 per person per session. Includes a t-shirt, practice string bows, novelty balloon shoot & pizza party at end.
