Pathways Offers Unique Programs for Children

Virtual classes filled with fun and learning opportunities!

Pathways for Exceptional Children has posted the programs for February into March 2021. We have a wonderful array of art, dance, computer science, robotics, and CAD 3D design classes for children 5-12 years of age. Children can begin with entry level classes and continue to progress to more advanced levels. For example, we have four levels of Lego WeDo Robotics. After completing WeDo the kids can move onto advanced robots like EV3 Mindstorm. Kids progress at their individual pace and are challenged to reach their own potential.

What makes Pathways unique is our children teaching children model. Pathways has trained mentors that attend classes to help. We also have high school students that have come to us with a passion they want to share with others. These students train to become instructors and under the facilitation of adults, teach some of our classes. Our computer science programs were initiated by students from Morris County School of Technology. These students began with one class 3 years ago and now have developed programs in Block Coding, Python and Java! All of our classes remain virtual due to the pandemic, but this means they can be accessed from almost any location! Make sure you sign up quickly as our classes fill up fast! Go to www.PathwaysKids.org to see our schedule of classes and to register.
