Cooney Reelected To Montville Town Committee

MONTVILLE, NJ — Residents in Montville voted to re-elected Republican Frank Cooney to the Montville Township committee, according to unofficial election results.

Cooney, who serves as deputy mayor, received 5,050 votes while challenger Democrat Emily Ryzuk received 3,238 votes.

Two different school board races were uncontested. Unless a write-in candidate receives more votes, which would be atypical, all running candidates will be elected, according to unofficial election results.

Charles Grau, David Modrak, and Karen Cortellino will be elected to three available three-year terms. Michael S. Rappaport will be elected to a one-year term.
