Report: Teresa Giudice Gives Up Maserati, Home To Pay Debt

Imprisoned Giudice, husband Joe owe $414K in debt; furniture will be sold, half of rent income garnished.

Teresa Guidice has agreed to give the government her Montville home, 2005 Maserati, and part of her salary from Bravo to satisfy the more than $414,000 in debt she owes the federal government, court papers show.

New Jersey federal prosecutors filed court papers Friday, and Giudice signed them, giving the government the right to the house and money to recoup what she and her husband owe based on a federal district court judge’s sentence, NJ.com reported.

The couple will also give the government half of rental income earned for a Lincoln Park home they own, the website reported.

Giudice is serving a 15-month sentence at the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut on bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy charges. Her husband, Joe, will begin serving his 41-month long sentence once Giudice is released so one parent can always be home with the reality television couple’s four daughters.

Joe and the daughters allegedly still live in the 10,000-square foot house in the Towaco section of Montville, NorthJersey.com reported.

According to NorthJersey.com, Giudice is scheduled to be released Feb. 5.
