Shoplifter Had Heroin, Brass Knuckles, Montville Police Say
Police say the man had heroin and hypodermic syringes on him.

MONTVILLE, NJ — A shoplifter was found with heroin, needles and brass knuckles on him, Montville Township police said in a statement.
Police were called to the Route 46 Burlington Coat Factory on a report of a shoplifter Tuesday night. There, a security guard pointed out the accused shoplifter to police.
Anthony Ivens, 25, from Ventor City, is accused of stealing a small speaker and a hat from the store. During the investigation, police say they found heroin, "several" syringes and brass knuckles on Ivens.

Ivens was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia, syringes, unlawful possession of a weapon, and shoplifting. He was taken to the Morris County Jail with an upcoming court date.
