Stroke Prevention and Thyroid Screening

Montville Township Health Department is conducting a Stroke Prevention and Thyroid Screening on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 4:30 pm to 7 pm in the health department of the Montville municipal building, located at 195 Changebridge Road. This screening is open to Montville Township, Boonton Township and surrounding towns. The nominal charge for this screening is $30.00 and includes an ultrasound scan of the carotid arteries and the thyroid gland.

A Stroke can occur suddenly. Stroke is a disease that affects the arteries leading to and within the brain. It is the No. 5 cause of death and a leading cause of disability in the United States.
