Teresa Giudice Released From Prison, Report Says

The 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star is at her Montville home.

After spending nearly a year in prison, Teresa Giudice left the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn. this morning at 5:01 a.m. and is at her Montville home, according to multiple reports.

Giudice began her 15-month sentence in Danbury Jan. 5 after she pleaded guilty to multiple counts of fraud in 2014.

She will spend the rest of her sentence under house arrest. She will wear an electronic monitoring bracelet until Feb. 5. She may only leave her home with permission from the Bureau of Prisons.

Giudice is expected to spend Christmas Eve at her brother Joe Gorga’s house, according to reports.

Joe Giudice is scheduled to begin his 41-month prison sentence in March, according to multiple reports.

Teresa’s lawyer, James Leonard Jr., confirmed to Bravo that Teresa was waiting for him outside the correctional facility with two guards and said “I can’t believe this is happening.” Leonard reportedly handed her three boxes of fan mail upon arriving.
