Wake For Samuel Cali, Leo Vagias Is Thursday

Towaco residents and Don Bosco alumni were killed Sunday night when the car they were in crashed in Mahwah off of Route 287.

The wake for Samuel Cali and Leonidas Vagias will be Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road in Montville.

Cali and Vagias died when the car they were in flew off of Route 287 and crashed into the woods in Mahwah, authorities said. They were alumni of Don Bosco Preparatory School in Ramsey. Both men were Towaco residents.

The funeral Mass for Cali will be at St. Pius at 10 a.m. on Friday. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

The service for Vagias will be Friday at noon at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, in Clifton. Interment will be private.
