$20K Worth Of Items Stolen From Morris Plains Home, Police Say

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Over $20,000 worth of items were stolen from a Morris Plains home Saturday evening, police said.

A Littleton Road (Route 202) home was broken into sometime between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., when no one was home, police say. A person, pictured above, broke in through the back door and ransacked the bedrooms.

Police didn't say what exactly was taken, but that the items were valued at over $20,000.

The suspected burglar was caught on the family's Ring doorbell, police said. He approached the front door around 6:45 p.m. You can see that footage here:
