A company spokesperson said the store will close because of "real estate decisions."
"Closing a store is always a tough decision," said company spokesperson Dana Ward. "And let me assure you they are not made without a great deal of consideration, but we are focused on growing our business and reinvesting those resources into other locations."
The pharmacy closed May 20 in accordance with New Jersey's laws. They informed all customers before closure that their scripts were transferred to Walgreens, according to Ward. The pharmacy provided vaccinations against COVID-19.
