Contested Races Begin In Morris Township

The general election this November is a real contest in Morris Township.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - A quiet primary election season has given way to a contested general election season in Morris Township as the July 7 election results are complete, according to Morris County Clerk Ann Grossi.

In Morris Township, Democrats Cathy Wilson and William Ravitz won their party's nomination with 3,389 votes and 3,220 votes respectively.

They will be facing Republicans Joseph Calvanelli and Sandra Garcia this fall.

Across Morris County voter turnout was approximately 98,776 out of 369,658 registered voters. Or 26 percent.

The general election is currently scheduled for Nov. 3.
