Cops: $21K Motorcycle Stolen on Route 10

Bike reported stolen Wednesday outside realtor office.

A motorcycle worth more than $21,000 was stolen from the parking lot of Weichert Realtors in Morris Plains on Wednesday, according to the police.

Patrolman Ryan Mckay, Patrolman Daniel Gallagher and Sgt. Michael Koroski of the investigated the stolen bike from the real estate company at 1625 Route 10 East Wednesday morning, police said.

The police said the owner parked his 2012 red Ducati 1199 at 8:30 a.m. when he entered the building, and noticed his motorcyle was missing when he returned around noon.

Police said patrols checked the area for the stolen motorycle and alerted surrounding agencies. No information was available about the current status of the bike.

According to the police, the bike was entered into the National Crime Information Center database.
