Morris Co. Kids Can Learn Ice Hockey At Upcoming Free Clinic

Morris County kids between ages 4 and 9 are invited to suit up and learn the game in an upcoming free clinic.

MORRIS TOWNHSHIP, NJ — Morris County kids are invited to take a free crash course in ice hockey.

Morris County announced Monday in a press release that kids between 4 and 9-years-old are invited to the free clinic at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Mennen Sports Arena in Morris Township.

During the clinic, kids will suit up and learn the basics of the game in a fun and safe way. Potential attendees must register online before the event.

The clinic is provided by the USA Hockey’s Try Hockey program and supported by the NHL and its member clubs. Its sponsors include the Morris County Park Commission’s Mennen Sports Arena, the New Jersey Colonials travel hockey club and the Morris County Youth Hockey League during Hockey Week Across America.
