Morris Plains Is Having Its First Ever Field Of Flags Event
Over 100 United States American flags will fly in military rows at the corner of Littleton Road and Tabour Road.
MORRIS PLAINS — People in town can expect to see a lot of stripes and stars between June 29 and July 6.
Over 100 United States American flags will fly in military rows at the corner of Littleton Road and Tabour Road, by the gazebo, in celebration of veterans.
The first-ever Field of Flags event, organized by the Watnong VFW Post 3401, is counting on people and businesses' support, by sponsoring one of the flags with a donation of $50.

Flags will be 3'x5' on a 6 ft. pole. Each sponsored one will have a marker tag on it to recognize the person who is being honored.
The deadline for donations is June 14.
