Morris Plains Resident Charged In Hotel Riot: Police
The large-scale fight sent three police officers to the hospital, and ended in eight arrests, Hanover police said.

HANOVER, NJ — Eight people were arrested in a large-scale fight in a hotel lobby that ended with three police officers injured, Hanover Police said. Several of those arrested face riot charges.
The fight broke out on Feb. 17 at the Hanover Marriot, police said. A police officer tried to talk to a front desk employee for more information, but police say he was blocked by Oscar Coreas, 24, from Dover, who told the officer to leave.
Coreas refused to back away, police say, so the officer put his hand up to create distance. Police say Coreas became "more belligerent and unruly," and an angry crowd began forming during the confrontation.
