Morris Plains Student Athlete Honored By NJSIAA

Students were awarded scholarships for their achievements.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ— A Morris Plains student athlete was honored by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) for academic excellence and dedicated to high school sports.

All NJSIAA member school can nominated student athletes. Each athlete earns at least $500 in scholarship money.

Ashley Bostek, of Morris Plains, was honored for her cross country, winter and spring track careers at Parsippany Hills High School.

“These student-athletes worked extremely hard in the classroom and in their respective sports to stand out from their peers,” says Steve Timko, the NJSIAA’s executive director. “This luncheon is our way of applauding their efforts and wishing them well as they begin college.”
