Morristown Will Be New Home To Stirling House Expansion This Fall
Craft beer and burger maven Stirling House will open second outpost in Morristown this September.

Start salivating because award-winning burgers and craft beer are coming to town.
Family-owned landmark Stirling Hotel with their mouthwatering burgers and extensive selection of craft beer is opening a second location, the Stirling Tavern, on South Street this September. Hotel owners Dori Baldassarre and her husband Tom will be joined by their son, John, for the venture, which will be housed next to South Street Creamery and Cafe.
Dori and her family have owned and operated the Stirling Hotel, a historic inn that operated as a bed and breakfast when it first opened in 1903, for over 30 years and the Tavern will be their first expansion. "It's our first adventure outside. The hotel will now have a sibling!"

The menu will be similar to the first restaurant, voted Best American Restaurant and Best Burger by New Jersey Monthly Magazine readers, which means Morristown denizens will get a tasty dose of their burger specialties and mac and cheese, among other updated tavern dishes.
"Morristown is a beautiful town and we're very excited to be a part of the community," said Dori. "It's growing leaps and bounds."
