2 Years Later, Morristown Family Reunited With Lost Dog
The couple, both activity duty military, thought they'd never see their lost dog again. Thankfully, they were wrong.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — It's been a long time since Gregory and Victoria Hudler last saw their puppy, Jodie. Jodie is now a dog, and after two full years, she's finally coming home.
The Hudlers, both activity duty military living in Morristown, last saw Jodie when a family member was tasked with watching the pup after the couple welcomed their first child. After a bit of back and forth, the family member admitted to selling Jodie, who was an emotional support dog.
Because it was family, the Hulders decided against going to the police, Gregory Hulder told News 12 NJ.

Then a few weeks ago, good news. Jodie has been found, all the way in Tennessee. Wings of Rescue, an organization that moves pets from high-risk and overcrowded shelters to safer areas, coordinated Jodie's long trip home.
"[Saturday,] Wings of Rescue will make a special stop in Knoxville, Tennessee to pick her up, and join our 130 dog transport from Mississippi, so she can be reunited with this super excited couple!" the rescue wrote on Friday, ahead of their weekend trip.
