Roadways will close at 11:30 a.m., Morristown police said, and will last until 45 minutes after the parade ends to allow for clean-up time. Drivers should expect delays and traffic, and should plan alternate routes.

Despite the recent snow, the parade is still scheduled to take place, the organizers said Thursday morning.

"The Parade will go on as planned unless the municipality says otherwise. We are working closely with the town and they are working diligently to clear the streets and make the route safe for both the spectators and marchers. If there is a need to postpone we do have a rain date of March 24th but we don’t anticipate that will happen," they said.

The parade is family-friendly, and there is no alcohol.

Dozens of organizations are marching, including fire departments, police officers, and school groups (find a full list here).
