5 GOP Candidates on Primary Ballot for Morris County Clerk Job
Voter information on who is running Tuesday to take over for Joan Bramhall.
Five Republican candidates will be vying for Morris County Clerk Joan Bramhall's job this election season and will compete for their party's selection during Tuesday's primary election.
Additionally, Democrat Terry O'Connor Redwine, of Butler, will be seeking election to the position in November.

James Vigilante, Parsippany-Last week, candidate James Vigilante, a nine-time decorated U.S. Air Force veteran and current Air Force reservist, was endorsed by Bramhall. Vigilante served 12 years on the Parsippany Township Council, having most recently served after former Councilman John Cesaro became a member of the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders. He believes his leadership and organizational skills leave him qualified to serve in the county clerk's role.
Ann Grossi, Parsippany-A current member of the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Grossi, a former councilwoman, decided to run for the clerk's seat shortly after Bramhall's announcement that she would not seek re-election. Grossi believes her legal background and administrative experience would be beneficial in the role. She currently works as a lawyer and serves as legal counsel to the Montville Township Public Library Board of Trustees.

Lorie Bogaard, Chester-A lawyer for the past 25 years, Bogaard is hoping to bring her business and organizational skills to the county clerk's position. Bogaard currently serves as president of the Morris County Women Republicans and has served on several municipal commissions in Chester. Bogaard, the wife of recently sworn in Superior Court Judge Peter Bogaard, is confident her familiarity with the clerk's position would help her in the clerk's role.
Michael Sanchelli, Jefferson-Sanchelli, a Jefferson councilman for the past 14 years, is a public works inspector in the county's Department of Public Works. With experience working as an election clerk and in the county clerk's office, Sanchelli feels he would serve the county clerk's position well. Sanchelli has also held a position with the Morris County Board of Elections.
Zbigniew Nowacki, Denville-Nowacki has served as an accountant in the county treasurer’s office for the past six years. Part of his campaign for the county clerk's job involves his plans to make a difference in school safety regulations as they pertain to polling locations. Nowacki, an American citizen since 1996, has lived in Denville with his family for the past 17 years. His educational background and work experience are in accounting.
