RANDOLPH, NJ — A 65-year-old Randolph man has been found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said.
Jose Lemus, 65, from Randolph, was found guilty following a jury trial. He was found not guilty of sexual assault, and the jury deadlocked on a second sexual assault charge, and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Officials say the sex acts that constituted child endangerment happened between 2011 and 2015, when the child was between 11 and 15-years-old.
