Ideal Strength & Fitness
60 E. Hanover Ave., Suite B-5

What the nominator(s) said:

"Ideal Fitness and Strength is a small, veteran owned business in Morris Plains that is 100% committed to its members and community. This is a place where you are surrounded by positive energy, professionalism and the feeling of belonging. ISF offers boot camp classes as well as small group and 1:1 personal training. Owners Michael Eskin and Andrea Corriddi created various opportunities for its members to stay healthy, fit and active in the period of time when businesses were forced to be closed due to the pandemic. Daily workouts and videos were shared with the members via live streaming. Once able to reopen, ISF reconfigured its space to accommodate safety protocols to ensure the health and well being of its members. I first became aware of ISF as a local resident of Morris Plains when I was in search of some 1:1 training for my son who was recovering from a major surgery in 2019. Serving their country is something my son and Michael have in common. After experiencing firsthand the commitment to help others look and feel their best, I have been an avid member of their team."

What the nominator(s) said:

"Although Verrilli's has been a family owned business for many decades, they had a relatively low key presence in the community. Many of us knew Verrilli's mainly for their pizza shells. Thanks to Kristi Dimogerodakis's postings of amazing looking food on social media during this pandemic, people from all over are now aware of this once hidden little gem!"

"Donated pizzas throughout the pandemic to local food outreach programs and provided great food to the community."
