Allegro School Fall Festival

Students enjoy Autumn Activities Despite an Approaching Winter Storm

Students at the Allegro School in Cedar Knolls enjoyed their annual Fall Festival despite an impending winter storm. Students used fine motor ability, eye hand coordination, and motor planning to create pine cone bird feeders and holiday decorated containers. They also searched for representations of food group items in a sensory bin to plan a healthier thanksgiving meal, addressing sensory needs while learning about balanced nutrition. Fall treats included apples, Peruvian hot chocolate and popcorn, the kernels of which were grown by our students in our very own greenhouse!
