Another Car Stolen In Morris Twp., One Found In Philadelphia

Morris Township police are investigating two car thefts and several burglaries from unlocked vehicles.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police found a car stolen last week from Morris Township. But as they continue searching for the suspects, another vehicle in town was stolen.

A suspect took an unlocked Porsche, with the key fob inside, May 26 from a driveway around Lake and Ketch Roads, police said. Authorities later found the Porsche unoccupied in Philadelphia.

But Morris Township police continue to seek two suspects, including one seen trying to enter the car shortly after it was stolen, according to officials.

Since the initial report, Morris Township police released a photo of one person wanted in connection to the Porsche case. Anyone with information can contact Det. Dombrowski at 973-326-7486.

Another Car Theft Reported

During the overnight hours of Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, another vehicle was stolen in Morris Township, Cpt. Robert Shearer told Patch. The theft took place on Mackenzie Road.

Additionally, the agency is investigating several vehicle burglaries off Columbia and Whippany Roads. Morris Township police reminded people to take keys with them, remove valuables from vehicles and lock them up.

If you see anything suspicious in-person or via surveillance, police said to report it to them.
