Are you ready for some Fistball?

The United States Fistball Association is seeking U18 athletes to represent the USA in 2017

Roxbury, NJ - January 18, 2017 - Morris County, New Jersey has a rich sports history that is second to none. But, are you ready for Fistball? The United States Fistball Association teams are prepared to continue making history! In July 2016, the U18 Women’s Fistball team competed for the 1st time at the U18 Fistball World Youth Championships in Nuremburg, Germany.

Because of the success on the international stage, and again by invitation from the European Fistball Association, the 2017 USA USFA national teams are headed to the 2017 European World Championships being held in Switzerland this coming summer. This year, the US would like to add a U18 Men’s team to also compete, offering a unique sports opportunity to represent the United States in Europe!

Even though Fistball is still a relatively unknown sport, it has been played in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York beginning 75 years ago. Fistball is very similar to Volleyball (with a bounce), so the transition to Fistball is easier for athletes who have Volleyball experience.
