Boil Water Advisory In Morris Twp, Morristown
Find a full list of homes under advisory here.

MORRS, NJ — A boil water advisory has been issued for much of Morris Township, and for parts of Morristown, SMCMUA said Friday morning. The advisory comes after a water main break at the intersection of Washington Valley Road and Whitehead Road in Morris Township.
The advisory is effective as of 7:30 a.m. on June 8, and will remain in place until SMCMUA says otherwise. Residents whose homes are impacted should bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes, and then let it cool before using it. Any ice cubes or food made with unboiled water during the advisory should be thrown away.
Residents should also provide pets with boiled and cooled water. Filters on tap are not enough to kill bacteria, the SMCMUA warns.
