The Great Electric Lightshow in the Sky

Nature provides its own fireworks.

So, I thought I would share something a bit different that happened while I was "Down the Shore (I hate that term, but it's the easiest way to describe my location, I s'pose)" over the weekend. It capped off what had been a blah evening that soon became a memorable one.

My friend and I were hanging out at her apartment in Ocean Grove, bored and a bit lethargic from a block party we had attended Saturday in Philadelphia. She was feeling somewhat down, piles of clean, folded clothed surrounding her, waiting to be put away. Instead, she said we should head outside.

It never appeared that we would get rained on, or that there was a threat of getting all shook up by a lightning bolt. It minded its business, we minded ours. But, not before I took a few moments of footage to mark the occasion.

As if to put a footnote on the celebration, a nearby town was setting off some fireworks from the other side of the sky. All around us, something was happening. Music, nature, fireworks, close friends and Korean tacos. What could be better?
