CASA Hosts Fundraiser at Turtle Back Zoo

Join CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties for a fun evening at the Zoo! All proceeds will directly support children in foster care.

Morristown, NJ—On Friday, May 14th, 2021, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Morris and Sussex Counties will be hosting a special fundraising event, “CASA at the Zoo'' from 6PM -10PM. Community members can enjoy a delicious dinner, snacks, carousel and train rides, the petting zoo, and the wonder of over 200 species of animals from around the world.

The goal of this year’s CASA at the Zoo fundraiser is to raise unrestricted funds for CASA programs, and highlight the importance of advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. This year, sponsorship support has allowed CASA to provide tickets to numerous children and families in foster care to attend the evening at the zoo.

“We are excited to share this fun event with the entire CASA family of loyal supporters, volunteers, staff, board, and most importantly, the children and families who are essential to the CASA mission. The money raised will help our organization to expand our programs and enhance the advocacy we provide to children in foster care,” said CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties’ Executive Director, Dr. Lisa Barsky Firkser.
