MORRISTOWN, NJ — After years at the drawing board, the public park on Speedwell Avenue may come to fruition soon. Construction will begin next week with an anticipated completion in August, according to town officials.

The park — located behind apartment complex Modera 55 — came to light in 2016. Last October, Town Council approved a $818,000 bid for Ralph Checchio, Inc. to build the park.
