Emergency Work to Close Abbett Avenue in Morristown
Abbett Avenue will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday until Saturday afternoon for work on the railroad crossing, officials said.

MORRISTOWN, N.J.– Emergency work is slated to begin Friday on the Abbett Avenue railroad crossing, officials said in a news release.
Saw cutting and other prep work is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday with construction beginning at 7 p.m., officials said.
The construction – "replac[ing] failing railroad at [the] grade track crossing – is expected to last until Saturday afternoon, according to officials.
