Expect Delays: Water Main Breaks On Morristown's South Street

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Officials closed part of South Street on Tuesday morning because of a water-main break. Expect delays.

Morristown police sent the Nixle notification at 10:04 a.m. Officials closed South Street to eastbound traffic between Miller Road and Elm Street.

They are detouring vehicles onto Miller Road, Maple Avenue, James Street and then back to South Street.

The Water Department is conducting emergency repairs, but expect delays until they're complete. No estimated time of completion was immediately available.
