Morris County Explores The Modern Age Of Graphic Design
New exhibition at County College of Morris will showcase the work of world-renowned modern-day graphic designers.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
The practice of using symbols and pictures to convey messages has been around for centuries but digital age technology has transformed and expanded the kinds of images graphic artists can create. To remind us of the creative roots of graphic arts, County College of Morris Professor Steve Longo has put together an exhibition called, "Generations of Genius" that features some of the best graphic art of the past few decades.
Some of the artists to be featured are the creators of iconic images, like Seymour Chwast, who designed the McDonald's Happy Meal box, and Paul Jervis, who counts among his clients Volkswagen, United Airlines, Xerox, and Miller Lite. Other artists include Milton Glaser, Mike Quon, James Smith, Andrea Mistretta, and Jon Weiman, who has illustrated more than 400 book covers.
