Close out National Chemistry Week and get a jump-start on Halloween! Try out your costume and enjoy spooky science, crafting fun, and a Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt for goodies. Show off your ensemble in our costume parade and don’t forget to bring a bag to collect your sweets!
Enjoy a FREE Mad Science® show at 11:00AM only. Seating is limited to the capacity of our theatre. Good for children through age 12.

Homeschool students will perform tests to see if graphite can conduct electricity and also try their hand at writing with this mineral. They will also take part in a thrilling science experiment just in time for Halloween.

Before or after some crafting activities at the museum, enjoy this Dickens classic, about the young orphan, Oliver, who overcomes great hardships in Victorian London. It is a coming of age tale about survival and friendship.

Shop till you drop with top mineral, gem, and fossil dealers, pick up unique minerals from our surplus stock, and see a mineral magic show. Morris Museum Mineralogical Society members will be on hand to identify your rocks and minerals.

About the Morris Museum
Founded in 1913, the Morris Museum is an award-winning, multifaceted arts and cultural institution serving the public through its exhibitions and performances which strive to interpret the past and discover the future through art, sound, and motion. The Museum is home to the historic and internationally-significant Murtogh D. Guinness Collection of Mechanical Musical Instruments and Automata. The Morris Museum is a Blue Star Museum, offering free admission to active duty military personnel and their families, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Morris Museum offers free admission to military personnel all year long.
