Free Firewood For Morristown Residents
Thanks to a donation from a Morristown local, other residents can pick up free firewood.

From The Town of Morristown: Morristown resident Len Gannet is graciously donating a large supply of firewood to the Town of Morristown for any resident who may need it during the cold winter months. The firewood will be delivered to the back of Town Hall on Thursday, January 25 at 11 AM and will be available for pick-up thereafter.
The firewood being donated is a portable, white birch log that can be used for indoor and outdoor purposes. Residents are reminded that the burning of firewood is prohibited in public spaces and should only be used on private property.
When asked why he decided to donate the firewood logs to Morristown, Gannet replied, “We all know it has been a very cold winter in Morristown. I have enjoyed a fire many nights this season, and rather than call my friends and offer firewood in a limited manner, I am hoping to work with the town and share our birch Bonfire Logs with my community."

Supply is limited on a first come, first served basis so it encouraged for residents to come on Tuesday to ensure that they will receive firewood.
