Friday Fish Fry Fundraiser a Success
Neighborhood fish fry for boarding school-bound Nasier Cotten brings many out in support.
The temperature was a little warmer than perhaps the guys manning the fryers would have liked, but it didn't matter since it was all going to a good cause.
Abbett Avenue resident Nasier Cotten, 16, has been accepted to attend the St. Andrew's boarding school in Rhode Island. However, with the cost coming in at $27,000 a year, the Cotten family is in need of support.
Their was organized by the family and friends to help contribute to the cause. Many folks were getting on line to order fish, wings and sides, often paying more than the listed prices.
