Guide Dogs Walk For A Good Cause In Morristown October 2

The Seeing Eye organization will hold a fundraising walk and dog pageant in Morristown at Lidgerwood Park.

Morris County's finest service animals will be out for a walk in early October and everyone is invited to join their cause.

The Seeing Eye organization, a philanthropic group with a mission to help blind people achieve independence and self-confidence through guide dogs, will be hosting their Doggy Dash, a dog walk fundraiser and pageant, on Sunday, October 2. The Dash is a day of fun for families and pets, including face painters, caricature artists, and airbrushed tattoos for registered attendees. Dogs in costumes will have the opportunity to win prizes, and best of all, attendees can meet and greet puppies that are training for important careers as guides.

Seeing Eye breeds and raises puppies to become guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired. The organization also instructs blind people in the proper use, handling, and care of Seeing Eye dogs.
