MORRISTOWN, NJ — Much like last year, it looks like winter waited until the last minute before packing a punch in Morristown, with an early March snow storm dumping a significant amount of snow on the town.

According to a National Weather Service public spotter, Morristown got 7 inches of snow by 12:45 a.m. on Monday. Snow totals for Morris Township and Morris Plains were not reported as of 9:37 a.m.

And the March snow isn't over yet. There's a 30 percent chance of more snow on Friday night, following a chilly first week of March.
