Morris Co. Woman Accused Of Setting Fire To Own Home: Prosecutor
The woman's husband was injured in the fire, officials said.
HANOVER, NJ — A Hanover woman has been accused of setting fire to her own home, and injuring her husband in the process, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said.
Officials say they were called to the home of Nina Sheller, 51, of Hanover, on Oct. 11, when a fire broke out in her garage. Sheller and her husband were both home at the time, Knapp said.
The fire began in the passenger seat glove box of a car parked in the couples garage, Knapp said. In addition to damaging the Sheller's car and home, attached united in the same building were also damaged, Knapp said.

Sheller's husband was injured in the fire; those injures were not life threatening, police said.
Sheller allegedly "made statements at the scene taking responsibility for the fire," Knapp said. She was charged with two counts of arson and one count of criminal mischief, and has been released ahead of a trial, officials said.
