Cases and Vaccinations

The Morris County Division of Public Health reported 61 new cases from March 11 to Friday in Morristown. Officials have tallied 1,928 Morristown infections since the pandemic began.

  • 36,139 total confirmed cases (since the pandemic began)
  • 6,447 probable cases
  • 924 confirmed deaths
  • 238 probable deaths

State officials have logged 254,394 vaccine doses administered in Morris County — an improvement of about 87,000 doses since Morristown Patch's last update March 4.

Recent Updates

  • Two Morris School District employees have died from the coronavirus this
    past year. Superintendent Mackey Pendergrast shared the information, along with increasing cases in the school community, when explaining the district's reopening plan at Monday's Board of Education meeting. MORE.
  • Morristown will receive $1,892,050.63 from the American Rescue Plan, the federal COVID-19 relief package passed March 12. MORE.
