MORRISTOWN, NJ — Here are the latest coronavirus updates around Morristown.

Cases and Vaccinations

The Morris County Division of Public Health reported has reported 108 new cases since Jan. 8 in Morristown. Officials have reported 1,497 cases in Morristown since the pandemic began.

The New Jersey Department of Health has reported the following totals in Morris County as of Wednesday morning:

  • 24,837 confirmed cases
  • 3,884 probable cases
  • 825 confirmed deaths
  • 194 probable deaths

The state health department has logged 29,461 vaccine doses administered in Morris County — an increase of 8,511 since Morristown Patch's most recent COVID-19 update last Thursday. Morris County has an estimated population of 491,845, and the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines each require two doses per person.
