MORRISTOWN, NJ — Here are the latest coronavirus updates around Morristown.

Cases and Vaccinations

The Morris County Division of Public Health reported 78 new cases in Morristown from Feb. 5 to Wednesday. Health officials have logged 1,753 infections in Morristown since the pandemic began.

  • 30,541 total confirmed cases
  • 5,214 probable cases
  • 877 confirmed deaths
  • 225 probable deaths

State officials have logged 111,417 vaccine doses administered in Morris County as of noon Thursday — an increase of about 30,000 since Morristown Patch's last update Feb. 10.

  • Three Rite Aid locations in Morris County will administer COVID-19 vaccines, including one in Morristown. MORE.

  • COVID-19 vaccine doses from New Jersey-based Johnson & Johnson may now be coming later than expected, according to Dr. Anthony Fauci. The change could effectively delay widespread vaccine distribution to mid-to-late May or early June, he said. MORE.
