In the past 10 days, Morristown experienced two three-day stretches of no reported new cases. The Morris County Division of Public Health reported no new Morristown infections from Monday to Wednesday and then only one Thursday.

Officials have reported 2,176 cases in Morristown since the pandemic began.
Here are Morristown's vaccination numbers as of Friday morning, according to the New Jersey Department of Health:

- Population with at least one dose: 58 percent of all ages, 69 percent of adults (18 and older) and 97 percent of seniors (65 and older).
- Population fully vaccinated: 46 percent of all ages, 55 percent of adults and 86 percent of seniors.
Nearly 4 million New Jerseyans are fully vaccinated, according to state officials. The state set a goal for 70 percent of adults — 4.7 million people — to get fully vaccinated by the end of June.
Recent Updates
- The Morris School District, which has logged 456 infections since fall, only reported six active infections as of Monday. But vaccine eligibility for students 12 and older came too late in the school year to have an impact on reopening this spring. MORE.
