Morristown Extends Parking-Garage Availability To Thursday

Vehicles may now remain in Morristown's parking garages until 8 a.m. Thursday.

Update: HQ's parking garage now also has a deadline of 8 a.m. Thursday.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — It doesn't look like this snow will disappear overnight. So Morristown has extended availability for parking garages until 8 a.m. Thursday.

For the nor'easter, Morristown made garage parking available for residents who park on-street and/or have on-street parking permits. Before the storm, the town set a deadline for exiting the garages by Tuesday morning. Then officials pushed the deadline to Tuesday night.

But Morristown officials extended availability until Thursday morning for the following garages:

  • Dalton Garage at Cattano Avenue
  • Dehart Street Garage (very limited availability)
  • Ann/Bank Parking Garage
  • HQ's parking garage

Show a driver's license or proof of Morristown residency while exiting to get parking fees waived. Non-residents and people who remove vehicles after the deadline will get charged fees.
