Morristown High Football Coach Steps Down, Replacement Named
Chris Hull won two conference titles, state championship during 11-year tenure.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The end of an era has come for Morristown High School’s Colonial football team.
Head coach Chris Hull announced he’s stepping away from the field, effective July 1, and will be replaced by John Power, the football coach from Columbia High School, the district announced.
During Hull’s impressive 11-year tenure, the football team made six playoff appearances, won two conference championships and one state title.

Power will become a special education teacher at Morristown High School. He hold a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Special Education from New Jersey City University.
He has served as program coordinator for the University of Georgia’s football team, was head coach at Hillside High School, and is the currently head coach at Columbia High School in South Orange.
