Morristown Hospital Women’s Association Donates $10K In Honor Of New President

Trish O'Keefe named to top position earlier this year.

Morristown, N.J. – In honor of the appointment of Trish O’Keefe, Morristown Medical Center’s new president, the Women’s Association for the hospital has donated $10,000 to its scholarship endowment fund.

The scholarship program, established in 1957, supports the staff at Morristown Medical Center by granting scholarships to hospital employees pursing careers in the health care field.

“Trish’s commitment and dedication to the nursing profession and passion for health care has made her an exemplary role model for all those who have worked closely with her over the years,” said Mary Courtemanche, President, Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center. “She has been and continues to be a strong supporter of WAMMC and we are delighted to make this donation to our Scholarship Endowment Fund in her honor.”

O’Keefe has been an executive with the medical center for 20 years, being named Chief Nursing Officer in 1996, Chief Experience Officer in 2012, and has served as interim president since July 2015.
