State officials set a goal for 70 percent of New Jersey's adults to get fully vaccinated by the end of June. New Jersey can reach its goal even if some towns don't hit the 70 percent mark, but the figure provides a helpful indicator in showing how much towns may need to ramp up efforts in getting their populations vaccinated.
Fifty-nine percent of Morristown's adults are fully vaccinated as of Monday morning, according to the New Jersey Department of Health. But 71 percent have received at least one dose, indicating a portion of the population is awaiting their final dose.
